I am an Australian artist based in Canberra. I have a degree in graphic design and have exhibited my fibre arts work in Boulder, Colorado and Australia, made theatrical props and learned all about web design. My husband is an astrophysicist, and we have two teenagers and one chihuahua.
My design work happens on Macintosh computers, but my artwork is done mainly using coloured pencils and collage. Recycling as art is a driving force in my work - I primarily use paper from old glossy magazines for my collage artwork, with tiny bits of Japanese papers for texture. I cut and tear the paper to shape and glue it down with acrylic medium.
I am represented by the Green Dog Gallery, Gundagai NSW Australia. When I'm not creating artwork, I write puzzle books for kids and enjoy cooking and playing the piano.
