Wayne F. Michaud lives and works in a small studio tucked away in the hills of northern Vermont, USA.
As a freelance graphic artist, he has used a state-of-the-art MacIntosh computer to design and illustrate coverlets, afghans and throws that are sold everywhere from the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC to Royal Holland ships that sail the seven seas.
As a muralist, he has designed and painted everything from wall accents to lobby-sized paintings for such clients as the Marriott Corp, Corning Clinical Labs and Rodale Press.
His award-winning oils and prints are in private and corporate collections internationally.
He is also the illustrator of three books on botanicals: Favorite Houseplants from Peregrine Smith; and Natural Healing Remedies and The Healing Herbs, both from Rodale Press.
Wayne is a 1971 graduate of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a BFA in illustration.
